More to know: The Devils are coming off a thrilling 4-3 overtime win over the Minnesota Wild on Monday, where they rebounded after a two-goal Wild rally to force overtime. John Moore netted the game-winning goal in OT.

The win did come at a cost, as forward Kyle Palmieri suffered a broken foot while blocking a shot in the second period. Palmieri finished the game, but he will miss 4-to-6 weeks while recovering.

Cory Schneider will make his fourth straight start in goal as the Devils open a series of three games in four nights. Backup Keith Kinkaid will likely make one start on either Friday against the Vancouver Canucks or Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings.
